WINTER LANDSCAPES. SKIES WORTH STAYING UP FOR.

A place to make
your own memories.

Make winter the main event: dramatic coastlines by day, warm cafés between adventures and dark-sky outings when conditions align. Choose a compact Reykjavík and South Coast trip or travel farther towards glacier country. Every route leaves room for the weather, so the experience feels considered from arrival to the last evening.

Northern Lights & South Coast

  1. 01
    DAY 1

    Welcome to Reykjavík

Arrive at Keflavík and transfer to Reykjavík. Settle into your hotel, take a gentle harbour walk and meet your guide for the winter travel briefing.

  2. 02
    DAY 2

    Golden Circle & aurora watch

Travel with a guide to Þingvellir, the Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss. After dark, head away from city lights if the cloud forecast allows an aurora search.

  3. 03
    DAY 3

    Waterfalls on the South Coast

Follow the coast towards Vík with stops at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss as winter access permits. Stay clear of the water at black-sand beaches and follow local guidance.

  4. 04
    DAY 4

    Glacier landscapes, your way

Use Vík as your base for a flexible winter day. Choose a separately quoted guided glacier activity or a slower day of coastal viewpoints; your guide adjusts plans for conditions.

  5. 05
    DAY 5

    Return to Reykjavík

Travel back with time for a café stop and the capital’s colourful streets. A geothermal bathing visit can be arranged separately. Keep the evening open for another weather-dependent aurora search.

  6. 06
    DAY 6

    Farewell, Iceland

Check out and transfer to Keflavík for your onward flight. Allow extra time in your travel plans for winter disruption.
